Our Story

GMU.org is your go-to student survival guide-written by students, for students. We’re two college friends who teamed up to make college life a little less confusing and a lot more manageable.

Budgeting tips, study hacks, handling roommate drama and late-night snack cravings, we’re here to share the stuff no one tells you-but everyone wishes they knew.

We launched GMU.org because, in our first years of college, we kept saying, “Why didn’t anyone warn us about this?” So, we decided to change that. This site is packed with honest, helpful content based on real student experiences-no sugar-coating, no fluff.

Why GMU.org?

What makes us different? We’re living what we write. Our content is built on firsthand experience, tested tips, and late-night conversations about what’s actually useful to know as a student.

We’re not trying to be perfect-just real, honest, and helpful.

Our Mission

We believe college is about more than just academics-it’s about growth, mistakes, breakthroughs, and building your own version of success. Our mission is to make sure no student feels alone in that process.

Whether you’re a freshman finding your footing or a senior tying up loose ends, we’ve got content to support your next step.
